GUITAR WORKSHOPS $10 per workshop Bring your guitar and attend one of the Guitar Workshops on Saturday afternoon, April 24, 2010 at the Guild in Charlottetown. 1:00 PM Rock Guitar Instructor: Richard Caron The workshop will include something for players of all levels (beginner to advanced) and will cover rhythm and lead techniques of classic rock bands such as Pink Floyd, AC/DC, Deep Purple, ZZ Top, U2 and many more. 2:30 PM Jazz Guitar Instructor: Ian Toms This workshop will cover common chords and improvisation techniques used in the jazz tradition. In addition to jazz standards, we will look at how "jazz chords" can be applied in rock and folk tunes. Players of all levels and backgrounds are welcome. 4:00 PM Acoustic Finger Style Guitar Instructor: Robert Drew This workshop will address some essential techniques for Acoustic Fingerstyle Guitar playing and should help players of all levels in widening their skills.
